4th of Advent - "I am an Ecole child"

We are truly fortunate to be able to hear Nurit Wenger Varga's memories firsthand! She grew up at the Ecole d'Humanité and has been involved with the school since the 1950s.

Just as Rosemarie Varga's family is connected to the Ecole for generations, so are many other families. Just as these families have written Ecole history, so has the Ecole influenced their lives... Books could be filled with their life stories, and this rich heritage of memories is invaluable.

Today, the people involved in the Ecole continue to write its history. Let us look forward to this Ecole d'Humanité of the future!

12 Booklets for the 4th of Advent

The Varga house, where Nurit still frequently stays, is adorned with various works by Pidi. The artful booklet “Das Alte wird nie alt” (The Old Never Grows Old) by Ute Zeller von Heubach (published 2020) features illustrations of drawing and paper cuttings by Pidi. Ute lovingly compiled them and tied the booklets by hand!
