What is the most important thing about learning a new language?
It is the confidence to speak in front of an audience: In the Ecole d'Humanité's theater program, students find inspiration to learn French while performing a theater production in their second (or third) language.
This year, the theater group produced the play "Le Dormeur du Val," inspired by the poem of the same name by child prodigy Arthur Rimbaud. In this play, students explore the interaction between words and concepts, the natural environment, and human action. Would you like to learn more? Check out the French theater!
Coming soon: The documentary film by Tatiana Khokhlova that shows how language learning takes place at the Ecole d'Humanité.
